This video highlights how the MuLaKiLa project is working to restore landscapes in western Rwanda near the Mukura forest and the Lake Kivu catchment. Rather than just planting trees and building terraces, the project integrates local farming communities into the restoration process. The fund has invested over €840,000 to finance 511 community-led micro-projects. These investments support climate-friendly activities that are identified, managed, and owned by the communities themselves, including sheep rearing, potato farming, and beekeeping
