ARCOS has grown and upscaled its geographic areas of intervention from the Albertine Rift region to Africa Great Lakes and Africa Mountains.\n<br><br>\nIn 2012, ARCOS received the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.macfound.org\/maceirecipients\/2012\/albertine-rift-conservation-society\" style=\"color: #1051A3; text-decoration: underline;\">MacArthur Award for Creative and Effective Institution<\/a> as a recognition of its work in championing the promotion of collaborative conservation and development actions in its areas of intervention. ARCOS is a registered Charity and Company Limited by Guarantee in the United Kingdom.
