Cell Community Extension Officer



Didace is a professional crop scientist who holds a B.Sc. Degree in crop production and horticulture from University of Rwanda. In 2014, he participated in the international training program of agriculture called AGROSTUDIES in Israel for 1 year. He did also a six months’ professional internship in agricultural sector at Muhanga district.

In addition, Didace worked in agriculture sector for 5 years as a horticulturist, farmer trainer, sector agronomist, teacher of agriculture, cooperative agronomist and supervisor of different public works activities related to agriculture. He holds a special experience in training farmers in cooperatives, in farmer field school(FFS) and in TWIGIRE MUHINZI extension system. 

Before joining ARCOS Network, Didace was a farmer field school facilitator at Rwanda youth in agribusiness forum (RYAF-Rwanda) in coffee farmer field school project.

As a cell community extension officer at ARCOS Network, his overall responsibilities are providing advice, follow up and support to farmers and community groups on tree planting as well as other project related activities. Didace aims to develop agriculture sector through extension services 

His hobbies are listening to music and playing volleyball.
