Clarisse Niwenshuti holds a bachelor's degree in forestry
and nature conservation from University of Rwanda. She worked as technician at the”
Organisation for Support to the Environment Protection and Climate Change
Adaptation” (OSEPCCA) where she was in charge of nursery management, tree
planting and community extension. She volunteered at Rwamagana District and was
involved in Forest Management and woody Biomass Energy support (FMBE)
project evaluation activities.
Currently, Clarisse works in Albertine Rift Conservations as
cell community extension officer in "agroforestry and livelihoods
project" where she is in charge of community extension, support tree
nursery managers and farmers in tree planting.
She is very passionate on nature conservation and enjoys to
walk and breath a good air from gardens and street trees. she also enjoys
watching Soccer as an additional hobby.
